Nature's
Aroma Salt Crystals
1 lb. = approx. 1 1/2 cups
Heated salt rocks generate
negative ions in the air. These negative ions purify the
air, kill bacteria and other harmful organisms, and increase
overall air quality. You can scent them with fragrance oil, essential oils,
or use them unscented. You can color them with our Color Tones. Heat them in a
potpourri pot, tart warmer, or use a candle warmer.
Step
1: Place salt crystals in a strainer and quickly rinse. Then lay
out on a towel to dry. You can use a hair dryer if you want to
speed up the process.
Step
3: Coloring and Scenting Salt Crystals: You can color our
salt crystals with food coloring, FD&C coloring, or our Color
Tones. We recommend you mix your fragrance and dye in a
ziploc baggie, then add salt crystals and mix until all are
coated. If you are using food coloring or FD&C dye, you may want
to dilute it with a tiny amount of water.
You
will need several drops of the Color Tone dyes and approx. 2
grams of fragrance oil for 1 cup of salt crystals. After you mix them
well, lay them out on foil to dry. You can use a hair dryer to
speed up the drying process.
Step
4: Place in a decorative dish and enjoy! You can also place
scented salt crystals on a plate surrounding a candle, mixed
with potpourri, or in a rock garden.
Tip: You can also color and scent crystals by saturating them with
an eye dropper or spraying them.
