Some
fragrances may cause this bath wash to break down in 1 or 2 ways.
- The bath wash may become very thick and almost rubber-like as soon
as the fragrance is mixed in (We have found Happy for Women and Green
Tea to cause this).
- The bath wash may become very runny within a day or so (We have found
Warm Sugar Vanilla BBW Type, Lavender Sage, Cool Water for Men, and
Moonlight Path BBW Type to cause this problem).
Here's
how to work with each problem.
- If your fragrance makes the bath wash rubber-like then you will need
to pre-mix the fragrance with our Polysorbate
20. Mix it 1:1 ratio and then add the mixture to the bath wash.
This should take care of the thickening problem.
- If your fragrance makes the bath wash too runny you will need to use
it at less than 1%. To test a small amount we suggest using 2 oz.
bath wash to 1 full dropper of fragrance. If the bath wash becomes running
then try using 2 oz. bath wash to 1/3 dropper of fragrance. You should
notice that the bath wash will remain stable with that dosage. This
means you will need to use no more than 2 grams fragrance to an 8
oz. bottle of bath wash with this fragrance.
Note:
We have not tested all fragrances and the scents mentioned may not
be the only scents to break down the bath . Please be sure to test
every fragrance first.
